About Atlantis

Built on the dock. Engineered for modern marina operations.

Atlantis Control Systems™ designs smart lift hardware, marina cloud software, and the Atlantis Boater App as one operating system, so facilities can run the waterfront with the same confidence they expect from mission-critical infrastructure.

Dock-tested

Hardware and product decisions start in real marina environments.

Cloud-ready

Telemetry, permissions, billing, and boater workflows stay connected.

Operator-led

Atlantis is shaped around dockmasters, finance teams, and boaters.

Mission

Build the connected operating system for modern marina teams.

Automation and intelligence should protect every lift movement, speed up every operator handoff, and make the marina feel easier for every tenant.

The ACS story

Marina technology should be built where the work actually happens.

Atlantis is not a software wrapper around marina operations. It is a dock-to-cloud platform built by the team responsible for the controller hardware, the cloud architecture, the boater experience, and the release quality behind every launch.

01

Built by Boaters & Engineers

Atlantis was born from engineers who live and work on the water. The platform is grounded in dock workflows, lift operations, tenant questions, and the handoffs marina teams deal with every day.

02

Hardware + software from day one

Atlantis Mini, Atlantis Plus, retrofit boards, cloud controls, and the Atlantis Boater App are engineered together, giving marinas lift telemetry, access control, billing rules, and mobile operations in one system.

03

An ecosystem for the whole facility

Eagle Eye cameras, utility telemetry, payments, accounting, fuel operations, and approved service vendors connect through Atlantis so every department works from the same source of truth.

Field signal

Every product decision is measured against real docks, real launch pressure, and real support calls.

Dock-to-cloud operating model

Install where work happens

Retrofits, lift controls, cameras, and marina workflows are validated on real docks before they become marketing promises.

Connect every signal

Hardware telemetry, staff permissions, boater profiles, reservations, invoices, documents, and service activity move through one platform.

Ship with accountability

Engineering, design, project management, and QA stay close to implementation so launches are organized, tested, and supportable.

Keep improving after launch

Atlantis is built as a living marina platform, not a static database. Each deployment teaches the next release what operators actually need.

Founder

Engineering leadership that still gets on the dock.

John Reichard

Founder & CEO · Head of Engineering

Before launching Atlantis, John engineered open-source self-driving car systems at Comma.ai, contributing to openpilot and the ecosystem that brought real-time autonomy tools to everyday drivers. His background in telemetry, safety-critical control systems, and transparent software now forms the backbone of Atlantis Smart Boat Lift Controllers and the Atlantis Marina Cloud.

John leads hardware, controller, retrofit PCB, and platform engineering at Atlantis, building systems that make every lift movement safer, more precise, and fully cloud-observable.

Founder loop 1

Install retrofits with operators.

Founder loop 2

Tune telemetry and lift controls.

Founder loop 3

Write specs from real marina handoffs.

Founder loop 4

Push product lessons back into engineering.

Team

The people shipping Atlantis Marina.

A focused team across hardware, cloud engineering, product design, project delivery, and quality assurance builds the marina platform with the same discipline operators expect from their waterfront systems.

Engineering leadership01

John Reichard

Head of Engineering

Leads engineering across hardware, firmware, cloud architecture, and field reliability, translating marina problems into systems that can be installed, monitored, and supported in the real world.

Hardware execution02

Sukanta Mazumder

Lead of PCB Design · Layout · PCBA

Turns development schematics into production-ready PCBs, balancing layout, stack-ups, signal integrity, and manufacturing so Mini, Plus, and retrofit controllers survive brutal marina environments.

Cloud architecture03

Suhas Chitade

Head of Cloud Systems Engineering

Leads the architecture and development of Atlantis cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security for marina operations worldwide. Suhas brings deep expertise in distributed systems and transforms complex requirements into elegant, production-ready solutions.

Platform systems04

Umar Mohammed

Senior Cloud Systems Engineer

Builds and optimizes the core cloud services that power Atlantis Marina. From real-time telemetry pipelines to API infrastructure, Umar crafts robust systems that keep marinas running smoothly 24/7, turning data into actionable insights for operators.

Boater app + product UX05

Rahul Patil

Full-Stack Engineer & Product Designer

Builds the Atlantis Boater experience and the cloud systems behind it, pairing full-stack engineering with product design so boater workflows feel polished, reliable, and easy to use. Rahul works across interfaces, APIs, and operational tooling to turn marina requirements into clean product experiences.

Delivery coordination06

Pankaj Dixit

Project Manager

Keeps product delivery moving across engineering, QA, design, and operations. Pankaj translates priorities into clear execution plans so releases stay organized, accountable, and aligned with marina needs.

Release quality07

Apeksha Nikam

QA (Quality Assurance)

Tests Atlantis workflows before they reach marina teams and boaters, validating reservations, payments, account flows, integrations, and operational edge cases so releases are reliable in the field.

Field-grade hardware

Controllers and retrofit boards are built for wet, noisy, high-consequence marina environments.

Observable cloud systems

Telemetry, alerts, logs, and operational context help teams see what happened before support becomes guesswork.

Boater-facing polish

The Atlantis Boater App makes slips, vessels, documents, payments, messages, and smart lift access feel coherent.

Release discipline

QA validates critical workflows before releases reach marina staff, boaters, vendors, and connected hardware.

FAQ

Where is Atlantis Control Systems™ based?
Sunny Palm Beach, Florida, with engineers and partners working directly with marina teams across the globe.
Do you still operate lifts yourselves?
Yes. Atlantis engineers actively deploy Mini and Plus controllers, retrofit GEM and TECH cabinets, and run facility audits so the platform reflects real-world docks.
Who builds Atlantis Marina?
A focused team across hardware, cloud engineering, full-stack product design, project management, and quality assurance builds Atlantis Marina as one connected hardware and software platform.
What problems are you solving?
Disconnected reservations, billing, lift control, documents, compliance, vendor services, and boater communication. Atlantis gives marinas one operating platform instead of a stack of isolated tools.
